BRAVO BiH

The Kick-off Meeting for the “Developing Academic Education Tools and Methods of Traditional Sports and Games for Youth” project was recently held at the World Ethnosport Confederation (WEC) Headquarters in Istanbul. This meeting marked the successful initiation of the project, which aims to develop academic education tools and methods to promote traditional sports and games among young people.

The project recognizes the importance of traditional sports and games as an integral part of cultural heritage and history. Unfortunately, many young people may not be aware of these traditional activities, nor have they had the opportunity to participate in them. The project seeks to address this by raising awareness about traditional sports and games and providing young people with opportunities to engage in these activities.

The project partners from Lithuania, Norway, and Bosnia and Herzegovina will collaborate to develop academic education tools and methods that will enable educators to introduce traditional sports and games to students in a structured and engaging way. These tools and methods will provide a comprehensive understanding of traditional sports and games, including their history, cultural significance, and rules.

The project’s objective is not only to promote physical activity and cultural heritage but also to support the overall well-being and development of young people. Participating in traditional sports and games can help develop teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills. By promoting the participation of young people in traditional sports and games, the project aims to support their overall well-being and development.

At the Kick-off Meeting, the partners discussed the project’s objectives, goals, and key work packages. They also discussed communication, dissemination, reporting, and evaluation procedures, as well as the intra-partnership agreement. The meeting concluded with closing remarks and expressions of gratitude for the participation and commitment of all partners.

In conclusion, the “Developing Academic Education Tools and Methods of Traditional Sports and Games for Youth” project is an essential initiative that will raise awareness about traditional sports and games, promote physical activity, and educate young people about their cultural heritage and history. By developing academic education tools and methods to introduce traditional sports and games to young people in a structured and engaging way, the project hopes to support their overall well-being and development. The project partners are committed to achieving these goals and working collaboratively to ensure its success.
