“Participating in the Erasmus youth exchange in Brežice, Slovenia, was an eye-opening journey that delved into the intricate theme of “Ethics in Artificial Intelligence.” Visiting HPC Vega, Slovenia’s supercomputer company, and the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana provided invaluable insights into the technological landscape and the ethical considerations that come with it. Engaging in discussions and collaborative projects allowed me to critically examine the moral dilemmas posed by AI technology and its role in shaping our future.
Equally rewarding was the opportunity to connect with an incredible group of individuals from various backgrounds, many of whom became close friends and important figures in my life. Working together on team projects not only strengthened our bonds but also enhanced my skills in public speaking and leadership. Diving in the ethics of AI from the start with interesting workshops that provided us with little insights of what this project is all about and how can we fully contribute and implement. Ethics in AI’ also made some great connections, from my country and outside it. “Participating in the “What About Ethics in AI?” Erasmus youth exchange in Brežice, Slovenia, was a transformative experience.
