“Participating in the Learning, Teaching and Training activity FutureCraft: Empowering Visionaries for Tomorrow’s Dynamic Landscape, held in Gebze, Kocaeli, Turkiye, was an inspiring and transformative experience. From June 22nd to June 28th, 2025, I had the opportunity to connect with passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds, all driven by a shared commitment to innovation and growth.
The project focused on developing creative skills and adaptive thinking to respond to the rapidly changing demands of the future. I particularly appreciated the combination of interactive workshops and collaborative sessions that encouraged us to step outside our comfort zones and explore new perspectives.
Through this program, I gained valuable insights into effective teamwork, leadership, and the importance of embracing change. One of the most impactful aspects was learning practical strategies to turn visionary ideas into actionable plans.
Overall, this experience broadened my horizons and strengthened my confidence in contributing to dynamic, forward-thinking projects. It also deepened my appreciation for cross-cultural collaboration, as working in Turkiye enriched my understanding of different approaches to education and innovation.” – Emina Mehić Šero
“The “FutureCraft” project is a project that I will remember for its challenges, spontaneous moments and a lot of learning. The topic of digital innovation and sustainability was interesting to me, but what stuck in my mind the most were the conversations with other participants and the way we all looked at the same problems differently.
It was interesting to me how each of us sees the future in a different way, but I especially liked how we managed to find a way to understand each other. I learned the most through concrete work, when we had to come up with ideas and solutions in a short time. It helped me get out of my comfort zone.
I did not expect that this project would make me think about my own role in the community, but it did. I am grateful to the BRAVO team for this opportunity and to everyone who was part of this experience.” – Ajna Sokolović
“Taking part in this project in Turkey was an unforgettable experience! From the start, everything felt exciting, inspiring, and a lot of fun. I got the chance to learn about future literacy and how important it is to think ahead, especially in today’s fast-changing world.
We explored cool concepts like future sight and how businesses can prepare for different scenarios instead of just reacting to them. It really opened my eyes to how important it is to stay flexible, creative, and innovative—especially as a young entrepreneur. I also gained a deeper understanding of global trends like digital transformation and climate change, and how they impact the business world.
But what made this experience even more special were the people. I met so many amazing individuals from different countries—people I never would’ve met otherwise. We shared ideas, cultures, and built friendships that I hope will last a long time.
Overall, this project gave me new knowledge, great memories, and a fresh perspective on my professional journey. I’m so thankful I got to be part of it!” – Admira Halilović
“Participating in the trip to Turkey and the project itself was a truly valuable and new experience for me.
From the very beginning, meeting people not only from different parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina but also from other countries was an incredible opportunity—and one of the main reasons I’m motivated to apply for similar projects in the future.
During my time in Gebze, at the Innovation Center, I gained new knowledge and practical experience for which I am deeply grateful. Every minute spent there was meaningful and enriching.
The organization of the entire program was outstanding.
Learning and working are what drive me forward, and this project—LTT Future Craft—significantly changed the way I think about the future and life in general.” – Ivana Vidmar
“Before participating in the FutureCraft LTT, I had never truly reflected on the importance of adapting businesses to future trends and challenges. In fact, starting my own business was never something I had seriously considered. However, throughout this training, that changed completely.
Through practical sessions on business strategy development, data analysis, and trend forecasting, I was able to understand not only the value of futures literacy, but also how it can be applied in real life. This project opened my eyes to the necessity of thinking long-term and preparing for uncertainty, especially in today’s fast-changing world.
I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunity to be part of this project. It provided me with a supportive environment to learn, exchange ideas, and grow, both personally and professionally. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to expand their entrepreneurial mindset and build skills for a sustainable future.” – Kenan Junuzović
“LTT 1 – FutureCraft: Empowering Visionaries for Tomorrow’s Dynamic Landscape” for me is the first ever Erasmus+ project and it has left a huge impact on me. My time in Tuzla, where we stayed in a hotel and then the time we spent in Gebze where the project was held, has been wonderful. The theme of the project is suitable for young entrepreneuers who want to achieve better future literacy and how to anticipate the future and prepare strategically. We, as participants, got the opportunity to learn more about horizon scanning, future states, roadmapping in foresight and everything else related to futures foresight. It was very well planned and the lectureres were extremely patient with all of the questions, practical exercises and workshops. Apart from Gebze, other participants and I had a great time spent in Tuzla and Istanbul. Spending a week in Turkey, rich in history and culture, broadened my perspective and helped me connect with different people. It got very beautiful where I got the feeling that I was more connected to the world. I gained lasting memories and friendships. This experience was truly special.” – Lamija Riđić
“Taking part in the LTT – FutureCraft: Empowering Visionaries for Tomorrow’s Dynamic Landscape in Turkey was truly an inspiring experience. The event was hosted in Gebze at the Bilişim Vadisi complex, a cutting-edge innovation and tech hub that left a strong impression on all of us. From the very start, everything – from the organization to the facilities, reflected professionalism and a forward-thinking spirit.
One of the highlights for me was the workshops led by experts from the University of Turku. Their sessions gave us practical tools and insights into futures literacy, helping us understand how to better anticipate change, recognize trends, and plan more strategically for the future.
Beyond the workshops, the intercultural exchange with other participants was enriching. We shared perspectives, discussed ideas, and left with not only new knowledge, but also new friends. This project helped me realize how important it is to combine innovation with long-term thinking and I’m now even more motivated to apply that mindset in both my personal and professional life.
Big thanks to Bilişim Vadisi, Fondacija Poduzetnika u BiH, Turku University of Applied Sciences, and all other amazing team members who made this possible.” – Nermin Šero
“I had the opportunity to participate in an international project held in Turkey in the city of Gebze. For five working days, we had training focused on vision, the future, business, and pitching ideas. The project took place in the technology center Bilisim Vadisi, which we visited on the last day and got the chance to learn more about some of the most important companies there.
One of the most valuable lessons I learned is how important it is to think carefully before making any decision. Even the smallest choices can have a big impact on our future and the way we see ourselves and our goals.
Besides the educational part, we also had some free time that we used to explore Istanbul. We also got to know the city of Tuzla, where we were staying.
The project was very interesting and meaningful to me. I was happy to meet people who are different from me and to learn about a new culture. This experience gave me new motivation, helped me grow and showed me the value of learning in an international environment.”

“Being part of the FutureCraft training was a truly valuable experience for me. I’m especially grateful for the amount of knowledge I gained from professionals who are deeply involved in this field. Their insights helped me understand futures thinking in a more structured and realistic way. But what I appreciated the most was the practical part, when we moved from theory to actually working on our own ideas. That process made the topic come alive. The group we worked with was very diverse, including people of different ages, cultures, and backgrounds. That mix made the discussions even richer and gave me perspectives I wouldn’t have encountered otherwise. The training took place in Bilişim Vadisi, a modern and inspiring space filled with innovation. It was exciting just being in that environment. Outside of the sessions, I loved exploring Turkish culture and meeting its people. After this project, I feel more prepared for the future and not because I know what’s coming, but because I’ve learned how to think about it more clearly and creatively.” – Valentina Josipović
