“If I had to describe my experience, I would say it was truly wonderful. Throughout the entire project, I was surrounded by an amazing team full of knowledge and wisdom. Most of the people were older and more experienced than me, and I am truly grateful for that.
It took me some time to fully realize what kind of city I was actually in—a place overflowing with centuries of history, where every street held something new to discover. When it comes to food, it was an incredible mix of flavors, and I can honestly say I tasted some of the best chocolate in my life there.
On the other hand, the culture really surprised me. Early in the morning, I could already see people doing different kinds of physical activity. Parks were full of people socializing and enjoying time together. In some ways, that shocked me positively, but also a little negatively.
Still, in the end, home is home. No matter where you go or what new places you explore, your mind always goes back to where you come from. That is why we should cherish what we have—because only when you leave your home and experience life elsewhere, you truly realize the meaning of home.” – Emenlin Hasanspahić
