The course was designed in a way that encouraged active participation, critical thinking, and collaboration, which allowed us to explore social entrepreneurship from multiple perspectives. Each session was a learning journey, opening new doors of understanding and inspiring us to think creatively about solutions to social challenges.
Armenia is a land filled with history, culture, and a vibrant spirit that is reflected in its people. The warmth and energy of the Armenian people made us feel at home, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere throughout the course.” – Azra Tupkušić
“I had great privilege to participate in Training Course about Social Entrepreneurship hosted in Armenia (18- 30 July 2024) with participants from eleven countries. The program of the training course was structured according to the ICE-CREAM model (Investigate, Collaborate, Elaborate, CREAte and Manage (Market) the project) and each day was fully devoted respectively to at least one of described topics with networking and workshops. We had study visit (Tumo Center for Creative Technology in Yerevan), meet guest speakers and experts, who shared their entrepreneurial experiences with us and used open space for collaboration and learning. During my time in Armenia I enhanced my skills and learned new concepts and tools and learned more about myself too. Besides learning experience, I had opportunity to discover culture, historical heritage and social community of Armenia.
I am grateful for all support I got during those days.” – Aleksandra Ðuričić
“Every Erasmus+ project is a unique and memorable experience. Through BRAVO BiH I had the ecstatic opportunity to participate in the training course “ICE-CREAM for social entrepreneurship” in Abovyan, Armenia. Upon acknowledging my acceptance into the training course, I was filled with eager enthusiasm for its commencement; only to watch as time rapidly slipped away once the journey had begun.
At the beginning of the journey, a variety of thoughts occurred to me. As TC had begun,I felt energized by the diverse participants who shared my passion for social entrepreneurship. We were all eager to learn, exchanging our ideas and insights enthusiastically. The host organization exceeded my expectations by skillfully sharing knowledge in an engaging and subtle way. They created surprising and inspiring moments that kept us interested and motivated throughout the experience. Nevertheless, the design of TC was magnificent, providing us with many chances to deeply engage with social entrepreneurship and gain a comprehensive understanding. The program featured cultural nights that helped us connect with others from diverse backgrounds, as well as explore Armenia’s rich culture and heritage. At the same time, we were encouraged to take time for our own work and reflection. This balance of collaborative learning and personal growth created a strong sense of community that I will treasure for a long time.
I can truly say that I have gained a deep understanding of what it takes to pursue social entrepreneurship. Even more importantly, I’ve developed the endurance to speak in public along with sharing my passion with others. But what fills my heart with joy the most is the incredible friendships I’ve shaped with people from all corners of Europe. Now, wherever life takes me, I know I will always have a network of wonderful people by my side.” – Lamija Sejdić
