“Participating in the Erasmus+ project in Łódź, Poland, was truly an unforgettable experience. The project focused on intercultural dialogue and active youth participation, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been part of it. Throughout the workshops, team activities, and discussions, I gained valuable knowledge about different cultures, teamwork, and communication skills.
The city of Łódź itself was full of charm and history, providing a perfect backdrop for our activities. Meeting people from all over Europe, sharing ideas, and working together towards common goals was inspiring and empowering. I also had the chance to step out of my comfort zone and develop both personally and professionally.
This project motivated me to become more active in my community and gave me new tools and ideas to bring positive change. I am grateful for the opportunity and the amazing friendships I made during this time. I would highly recommend everyone to join an Erasmus+ project if they ever get the chance!”

“I had great privilege to participate in the Erasmus + training course “Decoding Cultures” hosted in Lodz, Poland (11 – 18 April 2025). Exploring European identity and Polish culture (Lodz and later Warsaw) through training and study visits was a profound experience for me, both personally and professionally. Each session was a learning journey itself, methodically inspiring and emotional enriching by exchanging our ideas and insights. I learned a few tricks of how to enrich workshops I will be holding. I was pushing my personal limits, navigating in time and space.
I also got rid of some personal barriers in communication and prejudices. I am grateful for all the memories I got during those days. I created a small art piece (which I proud of) and left there and glance into different society whose characterized respect of individual contribution, culture of remembrance and ecological awareness which lack in our society (which I am not proud of) and whose pieces I want to bring and implemented here as I token to my presence on both places. I wonder if that means to be European.” – Aleksandra Đuričić
“Taking part in the Erasmus+ training course “Decoding Cultures” in Łódź, Poland, was one of the most rewarding youth work experiences I’ve had so far. The project provided a perfect balance of engaging workshops and insightful study visits, allowing me to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world examples. The main focus of the project was to promote cultural understanding, challenge stereotypes, and foster a more cohesive European community through meaningful dialogue and shared experiences.
Over the week, I had the chance to explore Polish history and culture, while also exchanging stories about my own background with participants from around the world. This exchange reinforced the idea that open dialogue and mutual respect are essential in creating more harmonious societies — and a stronger Europe.” – Nejra Delić
