The Visual Youth Exchange in Balatonszárszó, Hungary, is an eight-day event that helps young people use visual storytelling and creativity to express themselves and share their ideas. The project gives participants the chance to build skills in using visual tools and working with others from different countries. The exchange uses non-formal education, allowing participants to learn together and experience the importance of visual storytelling for personal and professional growth.
The program starts with introductions to visual storytelling and group activities. Throughout the exchange, participants will take part in hands-on sessions to learn how to use visual tools like mind mapping and creating storyboards. Workshops will show how visual storytelling can help young people express their needs and ideas more clearly. At the end of the exchange, participants will share the visual strategies they’ve learned and reflect on their experiences.
