BRAVO je prošle godine započeo još jednu divnu priču postavši prva organizacija u Bosni i Hercegovini i stota u svijetu koja je dobila certifikat humanitarne pomoći od Europske komisije. Nadovezujući se na ovaj uspjeh, BRAVO je nedavno postao dio priče projekta humanitarne pomoći pod nazivom H.A.N.D. sa još pet partnerskih organizacija, koji ima za cilj rješavanje društvenih izazova sa kojima se suočavaju društva država u kojima se implementira projekat. Ove sedmice, BRAVO je dočekao prvu grupu volontera, koji će igrati ključnu ulogu u doprinosu ciljevima projekta.
U sklopu predstavljanja projekta, zadataka i upoznavanja sa drugima, grupa volontera imala je također imala priliku posjetiti privremene prihvatne centre Ušivak i Blažuj, u kojem će provoditi svoje volonterske sate i doprinosti u pružanju pomoći migrantima smješenim u centrima. Ovi centri pružaju utočište raseljenim maloljetnicima i porodicama te punoljetnim muškarcima samcima koji su potražili utočište od sukoba i nestabilnosti u svojim matičnim zemljama. Volonteri će aktivno učestvovati u različitim aspektima rada kampa, pomažući u poboljšanju uslova života i pružanju podrške.
Nakon posjete privremenom prihvatnom centru Ušivak, volonterima je priređen obilazak Sarajeva, glavnog grada Bosne i Hercegovine. Volonteri su imali priliku svjedočiti sarajevskim ljepotama, prošetati njegovim ulicama i upoznati se sa sarajevskom raznolikom kulturom. Ovim iskustvom volonteri doživjeli čak i osjećaj povezanosti i uvažavanja kulture i tradicije društva.
Volonteri su također imali priliku upoznati se i razgovarati sa članovima BRAVO-a. Ova interakcija je omogućila volonterima da steknu uvid u BRAVO vrijednosti i ciljeve koje želimo postići, kako generalno, tako i navedenim projektom.
Uzbuđeni smo što ćemo ispisati još jednu priču posvećenu volonterima, i ponosni smo što ćemo još jednom svjedočiti pozitivnim promjenama i transformacijama koje će se dogoditi. U narednom periodu ćemo vam predstavljati detaljnije aktivnosti naših volontera.

The first group of ESC Humanitarian Aid volunteers arrived in BiH!
Last year, BRAVO started another wonderful story by becoming the first organization in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the hundredth in the world to receive a Humanitarian Aid Quality Label from the European Commission. Building on this success, BRAVO recently became part of the story of a humanitarian aid project called H.A.N.D. with five other partner organizations, which aims to solve the social challenges faced by the societies of the countries where the project is implemented. This week, BRAVO welcomed the first group of volunteers, who will play a key role in contributing to the project’s goals.
As part of presenting the project, tasks and getting to know others, the group of volunteers also had the opportunity to visit the temporary reception centers Ušivak and Blažuj, where they will spend their volunteer hours and contribute to providing assistance to migrants stranded in the centers. These centers provide shelter to displaced minors and families and single adult men who have sought refuge from conflict and instability in their home countries. Volunteers will actively participate in various aspects of the camp’s work, helping to improve living conditions and providing support.
After visiting the temporary reception center Ušivak, the volunteers were given a tour of Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Volunteers had the opportunity to witness Sarajevo’s beauty, walk its streets and get to know Sarajevo’s diverse culture. Through this experience, the volunteers even experienced a sense of connection and appreciation of the culture and traditions of the society.
Volunteers also had the opportunity to meet and talk with BRAVO members. This interaction enabled the volunteers to gain an insight into BRAVO’s values and the goals we want to achieve, both in general and with the mentioned project.
