ABOUT THE PROJECT
CINEBALK is a youth-focused initiative that uses cinema as a transformative tool to promote civic engagement, social inclusion, and cultural dialogue across the Balkans. It aims to equip young people with digital storytelling skills and support them in producing short films that reflect their cultural identities, local issues, and shared values. Learn how to write, film, and edit short videos, Connect with other creative youth across borders, Submit your film to the CINEBALK Regional Showcase in Albania and Receive a certificate and mentoring opportunity.
Objectives of the Training
– Raise awareness and critical thinking about cultural heritage and identity
– Build capacity in scriptwriting, editing, and filmmaking
– Foster intercultural dialogue through participatory storytelling
– Encourage youth-led digital projects with social impacting
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
- Age: 18 – 30
- Language Skills: English speaking participants
- Aged 18–30
- Able to commit to all sessions
- Motivated to share personal or community stories
- No previous experience in filmmaking is required!
