ABOUT THE PROJECT
Are you passionate about football? 
Can you properly kick a ball, but also keep the field and equipment clean? Do you like working with children and youngsters? Do you have experience as a coach, or maybe wish to become one in the future? Are you physically active and prepared for a physical work? Are you between 18 and 29 years old? If you answered “YES” to these questions – we’re looking for YOU! 
SUPRA Association in Kwidzyn is looking for long-term ESC volunteers starting from September 2024!
PARTICIPANTS' PROFILE
- 18-29 years old
- Regularly practices sport, ideally football
- Has knowledge about football
- Ready to work evenings and weekends
- Ready for routine (cleaning, taking care of equipment, organizing classes for kids, etc)
- Proactive person who knows what to do without being pointed out
- Enjoys working with kids and youngsters
VOLUNTEERS' TASKS
- Conducting regular football training sessions for children and youth aged 7-16, Work hours are usually from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Assisting in weekend matches, 2 times a month
- Participating in seasonal competitions between Kwidzyn sports clubs and other towns, including outdoor events and charity matches.
- Teaching English classes for kids, incorporating football-related terminology.
- Preparing and maintaining the field before and after training, managing equipment, laundering sportswear,
and cleaning changing rooms. - Participating in and playing for an adult football team (senior requiring semi-league), professional/professional level skills.
- Maintaining Supra’s Gym by preparing equipment, providing technical and cleaning support, and other
tasks as needed.
ABOUT HOSTING ORGANIZATION
SUPRA association was founded with a strong enthusiasm for sports, particularly football. Its members are dedicated physical education teachers and certified trainers who work in schools and public facilities in Kwidzyn. Supra is actively involved in conducting football training sessions, overseeing children during classes, arranging football matches and tournaments, and participating in them.
TRAVEL AND COST LIMITS:
Bosnia and Herzegovina – Fully Covered
- Free Accommodation: Double room. Houses are fully equipped (kitchen, bathrooms, washing machine, etc.). Note: be ready to share your flat with other volunteers of the other gender (not rooms!).
- Monthly allowance:
- Pocket money: 150 euro/month (approx. 650 PLN)
- Food money: 600 PLN/month
- Insurance: European Health Card and Henner
- Language courses: Online Linguistic Support, possible lessons in person, according to availability
