“Anyone Hears My Voice?” aims at bringing together 35 participants aged 16-29 between 01-10 July from Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Slovakia and Italy. The participants (6+ one leader) in total 7, will stay together for 10 days. During this period participants will learn essential natural disaster survival skills. When it comes to natural disasters such earthquakes and floods it may hit us and our families any time, causing serious harm to our habitation areas and our lives. Within this project in the field of youth, our institution aims to disseminate essential survival skills among young people from 5 different countries (Türkiye, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia and Italy) on disaster. EU policy documents in the field of youth consistently insist that young people and NGOs together take the initiative to help member states deal with this problem through volunteering activities, disaster prevention plans and awareness-raising activities. Through the project activities we will come up with key knowledges linked to disaster management and emergency action plans we have formed in the consortium with our partnering organizations. At the same time, we plan to increase the participants’ capacities in this field and successfully improve their current knowledge/skills.

  • To educate participants about the short-term and long-term consequences of earthquakes, including damage to buildings and infrastructure.

  • To instruct participants on essential safety measures and behaviors during earthquakes to ensure their well-being.

4. Self-Exploration and Confidence Building:

  • To empower participants to explore their potential and develop self-confidence.

  • To equip participants with volunteer skills necessary for post-natural disaster assistance.

5. Promoting Responsibility in Europe:

  • To bring together 35 young participants from diverse backgrounds to participate in the Erasmus+ Programme.

  • To foster a sense of responsibility among participants towards building a modern, healthy European community.

  • To promote friendship, respect, and tolerance among participants, which they will disseminate in their communities.

6. Cultural Understanding and Respect:

  • To facilitate cultural exchange and understanding among participants representing five different cultures.

Each participating country will contribute a team consisting of six participants and one group leader, with a preference for a gender-balanced group comprising three boys and four girls, aged between 16 and 29 years old. There is no age limit for the group leader. Ideally, at least one participant in each group should possess first-aid training. Cultural competence is valued, fostering an environment of mutual respect and understanding. Furthermore, participants should be willing to share the project outcomes on their personal social media platforms, extending the project’s reach and impact beyond the immediate participants.
