The Youth Exchange is a chance for young people from Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Bosnia, Latvia, and Spain to come together and learn from each other. The project focuses on developing personal aliveness and self-expression. That means encouraging young people to be themselves and express their thoughts and feelings in their own unique way. By doing this, participants can learn more about who they are and become more confident in expressing themselves. Additionally, the project aims to foster personal leadership and inclusion. This involves teaching leadership skills and making sure everyone feels included and valued, regardless of their background or differences. By learning how to lead and include others, participants can prepare themselves for taking on active roles in different environments.
The project seeks to promote the importance of digital literacy. In today’s digital age, it’s important for young people to be comfortable using technology. By incorporating digital skills training, the project ensures that participants are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the digital world confidently.
Overall, this project aims to provide young people with the tools and support they need to thrive personally, socially, and digitally. By focusing on building connections, fostering self-expression, developing leadership skills, enhancing social skills, and promoting digital literacy, the project sets participants on a path toward success and fulfillment in all areas of their lives.
The ideal participants for this project are young people motivated to learn, grow, and forge connections. Participants must demonstrate a readiness to foster personal leadership and inclusion. They should recognize the importance of leadership in creating positive change and be eager to cultivate their leadership skills.
Smokinya Foundation contributes to creating a world that works for everyone out of love, care, and cooperation. The approach of the organization is heuristic – a method for empowering a person to discover or learn something for themselves. This organization provides an alternative context of learning – experiential, ‘hands-on’, or learning by doing.
Smokinya Foundation realizes its vision and values through youth work. The organization serves as a learning platform for individuals who are ready to commit to their own learning and development needs. We create opportunities and provide space for people to learn, contribute and grow by participation, volunteering and leadership.
