Considering the significant impact that climate change has on the future of the next generations, environmental education should be a priority in youth work worldwide. Beyond gaining knowledge about the environment, recycling, and individual ecological footprints, it is crucial to address the emotional consequences of climate change and focus on real-life solutions.
Our training course aims to equip youth workers, trainers, educators, activists, and practitioners with tools, methods, and approaches to strengthen the resilience of young people, motivate them to take action, and inspire them that their voice matters. The training course will focus on actionable steps, know-how in activism and advocacy, and sharing successful practices. Additionally, the program will include outdoor activities designed to help youth workers support young people in reconnecting with nature and regulating their nervous systems through mindful practices.
Participants are expected to act as multipliers in their organizations and communities, making a direct impact on young people and encouraging them to make a positive difference.
