BRAVO BiH

This project, funded under the Erasmus+ Programme, aimed to improve the employability of women aged 18 to 30 from rural backgrounds.


By equipping them with essential digital communication skills, the project prepares them for employment in the non-profit sector addressing a significant skills gap while promoting gender equality and rural development.


General objective was to empower women by enhancing their digital communication competencies, fostering their integration into the nonprofit sector and increasing their employability.


The project brings together an experienced consortium of organizations across Europe, each contributing unique expertise to achieve the shared goals:

– SOS Europa (Italy)

Based in Rome, SOS Europa promotes European values like equality, social justice, and non-discrimination. With over a decade of experience in Erasmus+ projects, it supports youth and women from disadvantaged backgrounds through tailored training.

– Dideas (Spain)
Dideas specializes in vocational training and gender equality, with 15+ years of experience in entrepreneurship, social inclusion, and sustainability. Their innovative programs and university partnerships empower marginalized groups.

– PEL (North Macedonia)
PEL promotes human rights, gender equality, and youth development through non-formal education. Their expertise in managing European projects ensures impactful and successful initiatives.

– BRAVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
BRAVO fosters innovation, entrepreneurship, and non-formal education. Focused on human rights and gender equality, it unites the private, public and civil sectors.

– Mladiinfo Montenegro
Mladiinfo Montenegro empowers youth through education, mobility, and active participation, providing skills and opportunities for success in modern society.

– Kosova Young Lawyers (KYL) – Kosovo
KYL educates youth on human rights, European law, and civic engagement through courses, forums, and exchanges. Projects like “Think! Don’t Hate” promote tolerance, combat hate speech and encourage dialogue.

 

From June 3 to 7, 2024, the DIGI WOMUNICATION project held its first training course on digital communication strategies in Castellon de la Plana, Spain. Hosted by the Spanish association DIDEAS, the event brought together 60 girls aged 18-30 from rural areas of Italy, Bosnia, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo.

 

From September 30 to October 4, 2024, a workshop titled “Video Creation – Course on Digital Strategies for the Third Sector” took place in Canj, Montenegro. Organized by MLADIINFO, the event hosted 60 girls from across Europe to enhance their digital communication skills.

 

The DIGI WOMUNICATION project concluded on November 16, 2024, with a final meeting in Pristina, Kosovo, hosted by SOS Europa.

Key partners— DIDEAS, PEL, BRAVO, MLADIINFO, and KYL-gathered to celebrate achievements and plan future collaborations.

MORE ABOUT THE PROJECT

The general objective of the project is to increase the employability of women between 18 and 30 years old from rural backgrounds, through the acquisition of digital communication skills, to be employed in the field of non-profit organizations. The consortium, after a careful analysis of needs carried out with the participation of stakeholders, has identified specific objectives functional to the achievement of the general purpose: 

 

Specific Objective 1: Transfer to learners digital skills related to basic communication strategies. At the end of the training course focused on “digital communication strategies”, trainees will improve their communication skills by +60%; 

 

Specific Objective 2: Enable trainees to adapt the acquired skills to the specificities of non- profit organizations. Through 6 months of practice in non-profit organizations, trainees will acquire specific skills in the field of digital communication for non-profit organizations; 

 

Specific Objective 3: To develop the capacity of the consortium bodies and organizations belonging to the non-profit sector active in the VET field, by providing training courses focused on non-formal methodologies, innovative and based on a dual approach, bringing VET trainees closer to the world of work. 

 

Thanks to the workshop that will see the new professionals as protagonists, in the realization of a video course on “communication strategies of non-profit organizations”, which will be fully integrated within the training offer of the organizations of the consortium within online training platforms, the organizations will be able to increase the quality and accessibility of their training offer.
