Women’s participation in sports management in the Western Balkans is a topic of growing interest and importance in the region.
You probably didn’t know that women in sports in the Western Balkans generally earn less than men.
BRAVO recognizes the importance of empowering women and thus, we always try to incorporate such positive practices into our daily work. Therefore, we are thrilled to announce the start of one beautiful story that will begin to be written through the Erasmus+ project ‘’Women4Sports’’.
The first consortium meeting was held on the 26th of January via the Zoom platform and it gathered representatives from Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, and Albania. The meeting for the project ‘’Women4Sport’’ started with a short introduction of all the participants and team members. The National Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina was the host of the meeting and presented the overall plan and timeline of the project.
This meeting served as an amazing opportunity for partners to discuss the details related to the execution of future project activities. In the end, NOC Bosnia and Herzegovina took the responsibility of delivering the details for all the meetings before the Kick-off Meeting, enabling everyone to prepare for further discussions during the Kick-off Meeting.
The first Consortium Meeting ended with a group photo, in a high spirit, as everyone was ready to start the project activities. The project activities will start sooner than you can imagine and thus, we urge you to take part in this transformative experience that will enable you to showcase your skills and break societal barriers! We hope that we caught your attention so we would love to use this opportunity to remind you to follow us for updates and opportunities to begin a journey that surely guarantees personal and professional development!
