It is our pleasure to invite you to our conference that is organised under the project „Sharing Design Your Job“.
„Sharing Design Your Job“ is a project supported by European Union through the ERASMUS+ program. The project’s main objective is enhancing developed ICT educational programs and create complementarity with the needs of the labor market through increasing the capacities of partners and the project target group.
The aim of the conference is to address the adequacy of current formal education in providing practical IT skills, fostering collaboration between educational institutions and companies to tackle unemployment issues, especially among youth, and to ensure new educational approaches and support for requalification in the digital field.
The conferences will feature experts and industry leaders, policymakers and young people from Latvia and representatives for different European countries, discussing AI’s future implications, youth expectations in education, and social media’s role in public sectors.
We are inviting young peple, youth representatives, educators, teachers, business leaders and entrepreneurs, policy-makers, stakeholder and any interested in confeence topics to join us and engage in a dynamic discussions, share your experiences, and shape the future of education together with industry experts.

Aleksandar Mastilović
Aleksandar Mastilović stands out as an international authority in the field of Telecommunications, with a rich interdisciplinary background that encompasses the implementation of 5G technology, Telco Market Analysis, Smart Cities, and Digital Transformation in both Public Administration and SMEs. His work is primarily focused on converting academic innovations and scientific achievements into entrepreneurial ventures across business, academia, and government sectors.
Currently, Aleksandar serves as a consultant for various prestigious international institutions, including United Nations agencies such as the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), the German International Economic Cooperation (GIZ), USAID, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the G20 Economic Alliance, and the World Business Angels Forum (WBAF).
His career is marked by significant achievements, including receiving the IEEE Communications Society Global Top 30 Award for Doctoral students in Telecommunications in 2015 as an EU Marie Curie Fellow. He has been a visiting researcher at several esteemed universities, such as Rutgers University, the University of Sydney, and La Trobe University, representing the European research community on a global stage.
In 2022, Onalytica, a London-based business analytics company, recognized him as one of the Top 10 Global Influencers on Smart Cities. As an author, Aleksandar has contributed to 9 recognized scientific papers at international conferences and co-authored a book on the cybersecurity of industrial IoT systems published by IGI Global (USA). He is also a TEDx speaker on Smart Cities and a co-founder of the first and largest regional Smart City event in the Western Balkans: the Smart Cities Festival.
His policy-making contributions include enabling 4G deployment in Bosnia and Herzegovina and establishing a Roaming-Like-At-Home framework in the Western Balkans, further cementing his status as a visionary and a leader in the telecommunications and digital transformation sectors.
Maja Miljević
Maja Miljević stands as a paragon of entrepreneurial success as the CEO and Founder of Hexagon Startup Design. Her journey is marked by a relentless drive and a keen ability to evolve simple concepts into flourishing multi-million dollar enterprises. Maja’s expertise spans the comprehensive spectrum of business development, encompassing critical areas such as finance, operations, technology, and marketing. Her approach is distinguished by a unique blend of creative energy and a steadfast commitment to generating greater value and innovation. This commitment has not only propelled her company to new heights but has also earned her prestigious recognition, notably the Start-up Entrepreneur Award in 2018 from the US Fellowship Program for Entrepreneurs – YTILI.
Maja’s leadership style is characterized by exceptional management skills, adept problem-solving capabilities, and a focus on progressive execution plans. Her ability to innovate and scale in the industry sets her apart as a leader and a visionary. Mirsad Jašarspahić
Mirsad Jašarspahić, born in 1971 in Kakanj, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a prominent figure in the Bosnian industrial landscape. A graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica, his career is marked by significant achievements and leadership roles. In 2008, he took the helm as the General Director of the Kakanj Coal Mine, demonstrating his adeptness in managing complex industrial operations.
His exceptional leadership and management skills were recognized in 2011 when he was honored with the prestigious Manager of the Year award. Currently, Mirsad Jašarspahić holds the position of President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Chamber of Commerce, where he continues to make substantial contributions to the country’s economic development.
In 2015, his outstanding contributions to the industry were further acknowledged when he received a Special Award at the Manager of the Year event. Demonstrating his commitment to international collaboration and business development, in December 2017, he established a representative office for the automotive industry grouping of the FBiH Chamber of Commerce in Wolfsburg, Germany.
Mirsad Jašarspahić is also actively involved in various advisory and executive roles. He is a member of the Mediterranean Advisory Board of PlasticsEurope, the Energy Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Business Council of the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, and the Management Board of the Society for Maintenance of Bosnia and Herzegovina. His diverse roles and contributions reflect his wide-ranging expertise and commitment to advancing the industrial and economic sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond.
