BRAVO BiH

On November 5–6, 2025, BRAVO participated in the second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2) of the GENDERWISE – Promoting Gender Equality in Sports Leadership project, held at KEM KDBM in Athens, Greece. The two-day meeting brought together all partner organizations to review progress, refine upcoming deliverables, and coordinate the next stages of implementation across Work Packages 2, 3, and 4.

The meeting was held in a hybrid format, with participants attending onsite and via Zoom. BRAVO was represented by Kenan Junuzović and Ismail Šehić, actively contributing to discussions on educational content, platform development, dissemination strategy, and mentoring activities.

Day 1: Strengthening WP2 and Co-Creating the MOOC Structure

The first day began with a comprehensive review of Work Package 2, where the consortium evaluated the progress of the newly developed educational program. All partners have already completed their modules’ first versions, which underwent peer review and now require several small structural improvements to ensure cohesion once the six modules are merged into a single educational program.

A special emphasis was placed on aligning the learning outcomes, ensuring a uniform template for sets of learning outcomes, and maintaining consistency in the structure of each module. Partners agreed on upcoming deadlines for finalizing the educational program, external expert review, improvements, and translation, all planned between November 2025 and January 2026.

The afternoon session continued with a co-creation workshop, focusing on the architecture of the MOOCs. Partners worked collaboratively, guided by examples shared by PESG, to explore possible formats, including subunits, interaction types, reflection elements, and assessment strategies. The discussion highlighted the importance of balancing pedagogical depth with user engagement, especially for young female athletes.

Key agreements included:

  • 24 MOOCs will be developed across 6 modules
  • Each MOOC will be built from 4 learning units
  • Units may contain videos, infographics, reflection prompts, and selective assessments
  • Evaluation questionnaires should remain brief and user-friendly

The final structure will be validated after AKNOW confirms the technical feasibility within the Moodle-based platform.

Day 1 (Afternoon): WP3 Platform Development – Technical Priorities

A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to Work Package 3, led by AKNOW. The consortium confirmed that the project’s web platform will be developed using Moodle, due to its accessibility features, modular structure, and strong European educational presence.

The technical team presented early considerations for:

  • MOOC integration and multilingual interface
  • Accessibility standards (contrast, screen readers, captions)
  • Data protection and minimal data collection (gender, country)
  • Certificates and badges
  • Analytics tools for monitoring engagement
  • Community features such as blogs or discussion spaces

Partners also discussed the upcoming API research task, which aims to determine the best free and sustainable communication tool for peer-to-peer mentoring. Each partner will analyze 8–10 API options, focusing on integration possibilities, privacy, and usability. Early suggestions included Jitsi Meet, though final selection will be based on consolidated research outcomes.

Day 2: Project Management, Quality Assessment, and Dissemination

The second day opened with an overview of project management and the results of the first quality evaluation. Feedback showed extremely positive indicators across all categories, team collaboration, communication, progress monitoring, and dissemination activity.

Key decisions included:

  • Confirming the next TPM3 in Oeiras, Portugal, scheduled for 21–22 October 2026
  • Scheduling the next online meeting for December 15, 2025, at 13:30 CET
  • Continuing with structured evaluation cycles and updated project management procedures

Dissemination Session

BRAVO also participated in a detailed session on dissemination priorities. The consortium reviewed:

  • Posting rotation and frequency
  • Article responsibilities and EPALE schedule
  • Growing the project’s digital visibility across all networks
  • Preparing upcoming promotional materials, including an e-flyer (January 2026) and updated brochure

AKNOW and PESG also discussed the structure of the public website and platform integration, ensuring the site will display essential project information while the full learning environment continues development in the background.

Conclusion of TPM2

The meeting concluded with a summary of all agreed deadlines, next steps, and open tasks. Consortium members emphasized the strong collaboration, high level of partner engagement, and ongoing commitment to delivering impactful results for young female athletes across Europe.

BRAVO is proud to contribute to this important initiative and will continue supporting educational, technological, and mentoring activities within the project as it progresses toward its next major milestones.
