The project “Sharing Design Your Job” is nearing the completion of its activities, specifically in regard to the implementation of Training Courses. Twenty participants have once again gathered for the final training course of this initiative, with the main topic being Basic Digital Marketing.

The Training Course commenced on the 14th of May in Foligno, Italy. On the first day of the course, the participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the concept of marketing, its various types, tools, purposes, and elements such as SEO, PPC, and affiliate marketing, among others. The following day, trainers from the hosting organization EGInA presented the topic of green marketing to the participants, discussing its regulations and the issue of greenwashing. The trainers emphasized that marketing is not solely about communication, which led the participants to explore suitable communication methods and techniques to achieve effective marketing strategies.

Given that the training course is situated in an ancient town in the province of Perugia, in east-central Umbria, Italy, near the Topino River where it converges with the wide plain of the Clitunno river system, the participants dedicated the third day to immersing themselves in the city’s rich history and paying a visit to K-Digitale.

Throughout the course, the participants delved into the fundamentals of Digital Marketing and Marketing for social networks. They gained insights into how these platforms function and acquired knowledge on selecting appropriate tools and techniques for successful marketing campaigns. Understanding that practical application is a crucial part of the learning process, the participants actively engaged with platforms such as WordPress, Miro, and similar applications. These hands-on experiences allowed them to apply their theoretical knowledge and enhance their digital marketing skills.

The final training course of the “Sharing Design Your Job” project provided participants with valuable knowledge and practical experiences in Basic Digital Marketing. Equipped with these newly acquired skills, they are now better prepared to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of digital marketing and make significant contributions to their respective fields.

More about S-DYJ project:

“Sharing Design Your Job” project is a continuation of the “Design Your Job” (DYJ) initiative under which we have developed 4 projects already. Three of them were financed by EACEA and one by Serbian NA. All projects under the “DYJ” initiative follow and contribute to the overall objective of “Creating and testing new ICT education programs and methodologies suitable for systematic prequalification and re-training of unemployed or marginalized young people”.

Our initiative uses NFL methods, and mobilities to attract and motivate focused young people to gain hands-on and practical competencies. With these competencies, our users are capable, right after our education process, to find a job, start their job, or at least improve their income situation (usually with Freelancing).

Through the Project, all project participants will have the opportunity to learn new skills that will lead them forward. All project values consist of three areas that stand out:

Access to the shared knowledge of good practices with all hard and soft skills that are needed for the job search that is present in all countries of the European Union.

Work and a new learning system that is unknown to the formal school system. A new look at the unknown and opportunities to acquire knowledge.

Access to free technological management tools, specially designed for the field of soft and hard ICT skills, which will allow them to maximize the efficiency of their knowledge and IMPACT.

The Project will implement 5 Training Courses whose topics will be:

  • Basic hardware/software manipulation
  • Basic graphic design
  • Basic web development (current call)
  • Basic UX design
  • Basic digital marketing

Effective communication among project partners is paramount for the success of any collaborative endeavor, and thus, an essential topic of discussion during the meeting centered on an overview of the current relationship among the participating entities. By fostering a harmonious exchange of ideas and insights, the aim was to fortify the collaborative fabric and propel the project towards unprecedented achievements.

With the successful conclusion of this meeting, the project now embarks on a promising new phase, characterized by a determined focus on developing outputs that will empower individuals aspiring to acquire ICT skills. The overarching objective remains to facilitate widespread access to knowledge, enabling a broad community of learners to actively engage in the rapidly evolving realm of information technology.

It is worth noting that the “Sharing – Design Your Job” project aligns with and contributes to the overarching goal of “Creating and testing new ICT education programs and methodologies suitable for systematic prequalification and re-training of unemployed or marginalized young people.” This project receives support and co-funding from the esteemed Erasmus+ program, further solidifying its significance and potential impact.

Overall, the recent transnational project meeting marked a crucial milestone in the journey of the “Sharing – Design Your Job” project, propelling it towards its ultimate aim of empowering individuals and facilitating inclusive access to ICT education and opportunities.
