In this workshop 15 students participated and they were more than interested in the topic. We held workshop as a creativity plus thinking and finding the facts so they can corelate and discuss after.

In this workshop students were able to develop empathy and face with the facts about discrimination in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goal of the workshop was to develop empathy and raise awareness about current situation in BiH when it comes to the topic of discrimination and hate speech towards ethnic minorities.

The participants had a task to relate migrants, Roma community and ethnic groups with discrimination, human rights and hate speech in order to discuss about their outcomes. This was followed by a discussion and sharing opinions which was impressive.

All students were engaged in the topic, relating the terms and explaining them, they had a clue of what is this project’s goal. This group focused on combating hate speech in educational system toward Roma community and education in correlation with minorities in general. Can we help and what we can do about it were the questions asked by the participants related to the issue of preventing hate speech towards migrants, Roma community and any other vulnerable group discrimination.

All students were sharing their opinion throughout the workshop, and they were able to express their point of view in a creative way. Creating a motto, writing a quote and catchy message related to the main terms such as discrimination, hate speech, migrants, roma community and ethnic community the participants were able to think more and connect to those vulnerable groups. Particular focus was related to the issue of preventing hate speech towards migrants and roma community, and fighting for the rights on education.

This was the third activity that was held at Richmond Park College in Sarajevo and youngsters had full attention and participation in the discussion and workshop.
