As part of the ongoing implementation of the XXI Adults – Adaptation of the Adult Educational System to the XXI Century project, project partners held an online coordination meeting on 13 January 2026 to review progress, align next steps, and prepare for the upcoming pilot phase, which represents a key milestone of the project.
The meeting brought together representatives of all consortium partners from Spain, Greece, Poland, Portugal, Germany, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, including BRAVO, ensuring a comprehensive overview of both strategic and operational aspects of the project.
Focus on the Pilot Phase: From Planning to Practice
The central focus of the meeting was the pilot phase (WP3/A5), during which the XXI Adults Training Guide and the online educational platform will be tested in real learning environments. Partners agreed that the pilot phase will be implemented through focus groups in each partner country, using the Training Guide as the main pedagogical tool.
Following the implementation, partners will collect structured feedback and evaluation surveys to assess learning outcomes, usability, and overall impact. This evidence will play a crucial role in validating the project’s methodology and ensuring that the final outputs effectively respond to the diverse needs of adult learners across generations.
Finalisation of the XXI Adults Training Guide
The consolidation process will be led by Nova (Poland), which will act as editor and ensure coherence across modules. Once finalised, all partners will translate the guide into their national languages to support effective pilot implementation at the local level.
Within WP3 – Design of the Implementation Plan, partners agreed on the importance of involving local experts in each country. While each educational centre retains flexibility in how good practices are implemented, a shared strategic framework will be provided to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with project objectives. This approach allows the project to balance local adaptation with a common European methodology, strengthening the relevance and transferability of the results.
Platform Development and Content Integration
The consortium also reviewed progress under WP3/A3 – Design of the Educational Platform and Inclusion of Contents. Partners confirmed that the platform will host the Training Guide, learning materials, and pilot-related content, serving as a central hub for both educators and learners. Completion of the platform by the end of February remains a critical prerequisite for the pilot phase.
Dissemination and Next Steps
Dissemination activities were also addressed, with BRAVO responsible for dissemination actions in January, followed by Diputación de Valladolid in February. These efforts aim to ensure visibility of project progress and engage relevant stakeholders at local, national, and European levels.
The meeting concluded with a clear set of next steps and responsibilities, reaffirming the consortium’s commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive, and future-oriented adult education tools. The next online coordination meeting is scheduled for 10 February 2026 at 11:00 CET, where partners will review the finalised Training Guide and confirm readiness for the pilot phase.
