On November 18, 2024, the final meeting for the Visual Thinking 4 Youth (VT4Y) project took place in the city of Skopje, North Macedonia. This closing event brought together all partner organizations that contributed to the successful implementation of the project.

 

The primary objective of the meeting was to reflect on the numerous activities carried out throughout the project’s duration, share experiences, and evaluate the outcomes achieved. Attendees engaged in discussions about the impact of the project on youth development and exchanged ideas about how to sustain its positive effects in their respective countries. Participants also explored opportunities for future collaborations.

 

 

Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by BRAVO Director Ismail Šehić, who attended the meeting alongside representatives from partner organizations originating from Italy, North Macedonia,
Montenegro, Albania, and Romania.

Their collective contributions highlighted the importance of international partnerships in addressing youth needs and challenges. The city of Skopje, renowned for its unique blend of rich history, cultural diversity, and modern architectural landmarks, provided a welcoming setting for this final gathering.

 

The event not only celebrated the successful conclusion of the VT4Y project but also served as an opportunity to strengthen ties between partner organizations and reaffirm their commitment to youth empowerment and innovation.

MORE ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Visual Thinking 4 You(th) project, has the general objective of promoting the social inclusion of dyslexic young people between 13 and 19 years old, through visual thinking, which consists in transmitting and exposing ideas through simple and easily recognizable images.


The objective of this method is to improve the learning level of the learner by allowing him, through the use of images, to better understand ideas, define objectives, identify problems and generate new concepts and it is particularly effective for those who have cognitive peculiarities such as dyslexic people.


In this context, the socio-educational animator, a figure targeted by the project activities, proves to be a key element for the involvement of these young people.
