The Training Course “Art of Inclusion 2 – Sport and Outdoor Activities” was the project that really exceeded all my expectations. It was a truly mesmerizing experience that gathered young people from all around Europe. The atmosphere was positive, friendly, and supportive, which made it easy for me to feel comfortable and engaged. We tried so many new things in the span of a couple of days! From sitting volleyball to visiting institutions for people with disabilities; from going hiking to learning new methods for approaching non-verbal children; from the most amazing intercultural night to having a tour of the local theater blindfolded. Thanks to these activities I broaden my horizons and further evolved empathy. And through it all, I made such good friendships with complete trust and compassion between us, friendships that will stick with me forever. Overall, it was one great experience that enriched my life and for that, I will always be grateful!
This training session, “Art of Inclusion 2: Sport and Outdoor Activities,” changed my life for the better. There was some doubt in my mind about whether or not to come, but I’m really happy I did. Thanks to the interesting assignments, I gained a deeper understanding of why it’s crucial to include people with disabilities in athletics and other extracurricular activities. The coaches added greatly to the pleasure of the event with their wealth of information and encouragement. I was also able to forge meaningful bonds with the other members, with whom I shared a common goal of improving my local community. As a whole, I am very thankful for the chance to have participated in this remarkable event.
I learned so much from the “Art of Inclusion 2: Sport and Outdoor Sports” workshop. The curriculum was so well-thought-out that it blew my mind with how much I was able to absorb in such a short amount of time. I was able to try things I’d previously written off as impossible, and I learned to tackle problems in ways I hadn’t before. The coaches were very encouraging, and I quickly gained my footing and my strength. In addition, I forged close friendships with the other participants, with whom I shared a similar goal of making the world a more welcoming place for all people. The lessons I’ve learned here will serve me well in both my personal and business endeavors, and I feel refreshed and ready to take on the world.
